🚨 Attention Park Visitors & Parents 🚨

Over the past two weeks, we have had multiple incidents of vandalism in the park restrooms. Toilets and sinks have been intentionally clogged with sand and other materials, and water has been left running until it overflowed. These actions have resulted in damage to the facilities and unnecessary repair and cleanup costs for the Village.

We are asking parents to please speak with their children about respecting public property. Our park facilities are provided for everyone to enjoy, and repeated misuse affects the entire community.

We have worked hard to keep the restrooms open and available 24/7 for families, park visitors, and especially those with young children. However, if these incidents continue, we may have no choice but to close the restroom facilities and rely solely on portable toilets. This is not the outcome we want, but we cannot continue to absorb the costs of repairing and replacing damaged fixtures.

We appreciate the community’s help in keeping our park clean, safe, and enjoyable for everyone. If you see vandalism or suspicious activity, please report it to Village staff.

The fire department is calling upon the community for help in creating a new patch design that accurately represents our organization. We encourage you to participate in this project by submitting your design concept. As patches are an integral part of a fire department's identity, we believe that community involvement will result in a more meaningful design. A flyer detailing the importance of fire department patches is attached for your reference. Please submit your designs by June 1st, and our committee will carefully review each entry to select the best design. We eagerly anticipate your creative submissions.

Key facts to include: We are Lyons Royalton Fire Department. Our station # is 400 and we would like the design to include a Lion.

Reminder: Bulk pickup is scheduled for Saturday. Please note that this service is for Village residents only. We kindly ask everyone to only place items from their own household and not bring in trash or bulk items from outside the Village.
