Auntie M’s is a new Lynchburg small business that caters to gluten and dairy free individuals! The owner and her family were the sweetest people and made everyone feel so seen and welcomed! My boys had a mishap that led to them dumping their lemonades all over the parking lot and they were kind enough to offer to replace them. I cannot wait to try their other flavors!

Saturday Farmers markets are such a great way to shop and support local businesses. We loved our trip to the Forest farmers market. There are so many vendors I look forward to trying next time we go. It is the perfect blend of local produce, artisan goods and family fun.

If buying a fixer upper is your dream then FHA and VA loan programs might not be quite the right fit for you. They are known for having very stringent qualification guidelines and appraisers that flag it all. This can be a benefit for the consumer because it mitigates some of the risk you take on. However, it can mean That you have to jump through some more hoops during the repair procedure. Funny enough conventional loans have most of the same guidelines for properties, but their appraisers are known for flagging much less.

This is one of the reasons I LOVE LYH! Welcome to the Flour District, tucked away off Bedford Ave in a quiet shopping center filled with some of the best eats and artisan goods. This is one of my family’s favorite cafes! It has a bright and inviting space, intentional seating, unreal coffee and of course amazing baked goods.

I have a gluten allergy and I can get 🍪treats🍪 here!!! And not just one, dry and crumby option. I have options that are chewy, moist, decadent, fluffy etc. They make the gluten free community feel included and not just an after thought. My boys got a chocolate filled croissant and a chocolate cheesecake brownie that looked out of this world. I indulged in the gf, flourless chocolate toffee cookie. It wasn’t just a “good for being gluten-free” cookie, it was one of the most amazing cookies period with chunks of flakey salt to balance it out. This was one of three gf options for the day. Should I go back and review the other gf treats and do a video on their outrageous coffee???
