Hey there, New York!
My name is Sara, and I’m the owner / founder of Sweet Dreams Bakery. As I’m re-launching S a r a E l d e r , I figured I should introduce myself and give some history behind my business!
Founded in 2018, Sweet Dreams Bakery was originally located out of my home in Central VA. What started as a curiosity of what I could create, ended with 6 years of getting to make dreamy looking (and tasting) treats a reality. Countless wedding caterings, large events, birthdays, etc… it was a childhood dream and a joy bringing my creativity and love for baking to VA. ✨
Now, after almost two years of closing my doors and moving to the city, it felt time to re-open and bring SDB to NYC! I’m stoked to be bringing this business to Manhattan.
I hope to create specialty custom cakes and treats that will leave a sweet spot in your memory. 🧁🗽

Starting in August, I’m excited to be offering monthly treat drops! These will feature a specialty flavor of the month that will come in different forms (muffins, cupcakes, fritters, etc.)
In the meantime, I have peach fritters still available through the end of July, muffins, and custom slots open!
