Thanks to Stacy Gallahan we were able to snag fresh, local, organic figs plus some of her homemade fig jam and y'all- the jam on our sourdough was incredible! We also were able to test a recipe I'd been wanting to try for a while: honey vanilla cupcakes with mascarpone whipped cream and caramelized figs 😍 Fig season is short but sweet and we made the most of it!

Howdy Bluejays 🩵 thank y'all for your orders and kindness as this summer without Winnie has been long. We're still baking, still working, and still doing our best. Looking ahead to autumn bakes- the earlier you order the better so we can protect time to bake for you! The online order form has been updated and streamlined to highlight what we can offer best right now, but as always if you have a special request not on the form please reach out and we'll see what we can do!

Hey Bluejays 👋 As some of you know, I lost my cat Winnie 2 weeks ago. The emotional and financial toll from her sickness and passing has been significant, and although Bluejay Bakes was closed for orders we are opening up orders again to help offset costs from this past month.
