Some clients become so much more than an order form and invoice. They become part of your story📖
A few years ago, we had the honor of serving Courtney and Colton Fox for their wedding. Since then, we’ve had the privilege of continuing to celebrate alongside them through anniversary cakes, gender reveal cakes, countless pastry orders, and so many sweet milestones in between.
This week, in the middle of packing up their lives and preparing to move 800+ miles away for an incredible new opportunity God has placed before their growing family, they reached out for “one last cake and pastry box for the road.” And honestly… I can’t get over that.🥺
In the chaos of moving, they thought of us one more time before leaving Lynchburg. To me, that speaks volumes.
Not about cake.
Not about pastries.
Not even about customer service.
It speaks to the genuine relationships we strive to build with every single person who walks through our doors. Our clients are never just numbers, transactions, or sales opportunities to us. They are people with stories, families, dreams, goals, celebrations, heartbreaks, and milestones. One of my favorite parts of what we do is truly getting to know the people we serve. Over the years, these relationships become so much bigger than business.
So while I am incredibly sad to see Courtney and Colton leave Lynchburg, I am even more excited for them. Excited to watch God move in their lives. Excited for this next adventure and chapter ahead for their family.
Courtney and Colton — thank you. Thank you for supporting our small bakery. Thank you for allowing us the privilege of serving you, celebrating alongside you, and getting to know you beyond the orders. Thank you for letting us be a tiny part of your story over these past few years.
We are cheering you on from Lynchburg and cannot wait to hear about all the incredible things God does for your family.
See you later — and safe travels ♥️
