The hardest and longest part of making a quilt is waiting for a design to come to me. I put all the photos and cut up shirts on my design board angling with my graph paper and computer and have to stare at it for a while waiting for designs to vine to me.

I just finished another quilt for a customer. The top was hand sewn between 1890 and 1895. I had to do some repairs on it. T thought it best to reinforce the quilt and quilted straight lines both vertical and horizontal to reinforce the top. Some of the little 1 inch squares I was unable to fix, and I feel it preserves the integrity and history of the quilt.

Finishing up a quilt for my customer from 1890 - 1895. Had to do some repairs to this one.

My son wore out the quilt I made for him by washing it every week with his sheets. Quilts do not get washed that often. So I am remaking it. I thew all of the old one out except for the t-shirt. I re-stabelized it. I am going with the same colors but using Grunge fabric. Yesterday I cut all the size pieces I needed of each color and labeled them. Today I am starting to construct the quilt top.

I am currently attempting to remake a quilt I had made in the past for my son. This was my own design.
