Y’all mentioned wanting to see more real life content, kid baking, my baking, and little tips and tricks, so since I’m not baking today I figured I’d share what a normal morning looks like over here 😂

I thought breakfast would be quick and easy. Just some eggs before starting the day. Simple enough, right?

Well Cam decided he absolutely had to make his own scrambled eggs with cheese. And if you know a two-year-old, once they decide something, that’s the plan 😂

Then Carter decided if he was cooking his own, she needed to make her omelette herself too. She’s still learning, so that turned into me supervising both kids in the kitchen.

What should have been a 5 minute breakfast somehow became a 30 minute adventure and had us all on a time crunch.

Did I feel a little like Chili in the omelette episode of Bluey? Absolutely. But they’re only little once, so sometimes you just let the moment happen 🤍
