Wow! What a week!! We have almost sold out both Thursday and Friday thanks to our amazing customers!!! We are so grateful for your support!

We are ending our week on a sweet note thanks to Peggy and Cherry who worked crazy hard today to get us restocked for Saturday!!!

So, without further adieu, let’s meet Saturday’s specials:

-German Chocolate Bundtlet Cakes- our rich chocolate cake, covered in chocolate ganache and topped with homemade coconut pecan frosting.

-Cookie Boxes with 1/2 dozen Orange Chocolate Chip cookies. These are Mr. Swoonworthy and My Dad’s favorite cookie ever. There is just something special about orange 🍊 chocolate!

-Throwback to my youth- Peanut Butter Cornflake Cookies- loved getting these on my school lunch tray in Elementary school!

-Toffee Pecan Scones - our classic sourdough scone filled with Heath English Toffee and Pecans.

-Lemon Blueberry Sourdough- one of our most requested sweet breads.

And of course our case will be filled with hand pies, sourdough cookies, brownies, and more too!

I haven’t stopped long enough today to post but LOOK!!! The Texas Tea Bar now has even bigger bottles of your favorite locally brewed tea!!! If you haven’t tried it yet you need to stop in! I promise you it is so worth the trip! Color me obsessed already!!!

PHEW. Today was a BUSY ONE, but it’s never too late to confirm a restock and celebrate ALL THREE sizes being available in our Luling home at Swoonworthy Sourdough Artisan Bakery in Allen's Alley.

Sugar Mae has been busy this week and is ready to take a little break, but not before we get our specials for the week posted!!

Happy Monday!! It is pre-prep day at Swoonworthy Sourdough Artisan Bakery and I’m finally getting our homemade vanilla bean paste restocked!!

We are vanilla snobs and you will never find imitation vanilla in our pantry. Our paste is made from whole Madagascar vanilla beans, sugar, vodka, water, and today’s batch we added organic agave syrup to keep it from crystallizing.

Why agave? One of our awesome customers is very allergic to corn and we realized she can’t eat any of our treats because of this allergy so we fixed it!!! So excited that she will finally be able to enjoy a cookie now!!

We are so appreciative of our customers and do our very best to make sure we can serve you well! Customer service is a top priority.

Oh- and we use every last drop of that beautiful paste. The white jar is filled with half and half used to clean out the blender! That is earmarked for our scones this week!! What flavor should we make first?

What a night!! This is our 3rd year donating a cake to the cake auction at the Night In Old Luling event and tonight’s bids on our cake were something I never dreamed would happen!!! Our 22 lb cake went for more than $71 per pound!! $1600 was raised for the Luling Education Foundation tonight thanks to Hoppy and Linda Haden. Thank you so much for supporting Swoonworthy Sourdough Artisan Bakery and our community with your generous purchase. You have absolutely made my night as a baker! I hope that you enjoy every bite as much as your donation will help our youth and educational programs.
