If you have ever made pizzelle before, you know it may be difficult to find a container in which to store them, as they are larger than your standard cookie. Growing up, when we made them for the holidays and other family gatherings, we would store them in a stock pot. It was large so we could fit 3 stacks. It kept them fresh and we would store it our pantry.
Visiting my dad recently, I found the stock pot! It brought back those wonderful memories, so I just had to share it.
It's the simple things.
I will have pizzelle, along with your favorite biscotti, this Saturday at Amherst Farmers' Market! Come out, have some great food and fun while supporting local businesses!
