Today is the day. We go in for a PET scan. To see whats going on with the cancer if the chemo is helping at all. This will tell the DRs what our next move is. What type of transplant is the better option for his case.

Woke up this morning to see we have reached over $700 in donations. I along with the family am great for all the shares and donations. However we still have a long way to go. It is estimated at just over 8K to lay Manda to rest. You can donate to this go fund me or follow the link on the end of this post to donate directly to the funeral home. Whatever works for you. Amanda Elaine Mulligan, age 27, of Ludington passed away unexpectedly Thursday, January 14, 2021. She was born August 12, 1993 to John and Virginia (Allen) Mulligan. Amanda graduated from Mason County Central in 2010.
She was a caring and compassionate person, always willing to help someone out. She was involved with her church, Radiant Church. Amanda loved country music, walks in the woods or at the beach. She also enjoyed adult coloring books. The most important thing in Amanda’s life was her daughter, Kayleana. The bond between the two of them was strong.
Amanda will be greatly missed by her parents, John and Ginny Mulligan, her daughter, Kayleana Mulligan, her three siblings, Krystal (Brandon) Jablonski, John (Nicole) Mulligan II, and Patrick Mulligan, her paternal grandfather, Patrick Mulligan, and many nieces and nephews.
Amanda was preceded in death by her nephew, Timothy Mulligan.
A funeral will be held Wednesday, January 20, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at the Oak Grove Funeral Home in Ludington. Family will greet friends starting at 11:00 a.m. Masks will be required and social distancing will be observed.
In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to assist with her funeral expenses. Donations may be placed on the funeral home website at www.oakgroveludington.com or by check to the funeral home.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Oak Grove Funeral Home of Ludington, www.oakgroveludington.com.

A huge thanks to everyone that has helped by donation and sharing this. We are finally getting answers we desperately need.
He gets his port put in today!!! Somthing he is really looking forward to getting. This will make a lot of stuff eaiser for him. Thank God! He has already endured so much this last month. It will be nice to have a little relief. After the port we can start treatment. And treatment is our main goal. He is resting and doing ok.
The hope lodge has put us (me) up in a room while we are in GR that place is amazing. Took a huge weight off my shoulders. The American Cancer society is an amazing thing.

This young man was so full of life. Gave his life for another! Yes you read the correct. He lost his life saving the life of another. with him being only 18 lord knows the family was not ready for this. So he did not have life insurance like most 18yr olds. We just do not think we need it at such a young age. His family is devistated and the last thing they need to worry about at this time is coming up with the money to lay him to rest. So i ask each and every one of you please donate if you can and if not thats OK too we underatand. But please share Daniels story with the rest of the world. Let everyone know he left us a HERO! RIP bud!

As many of you know we lost Daniel on Tuesday July 23, 2019 to a drowning in Lake Michigan where the river meets with the lake. All donations will go to the family to help with funeral expenses.
