I remember feeling so inadequate when I first opened. I was 19, testing out new recipes (failing at some), dealing with the talk around a new town, & trying my darndest to stay afloat.

I remember people saying I’d last 4 months tops, my cake tasting like cornbread (I can’t deny that in the beginning… give me a break 😂), I didn’t have it in me to last at all, so many things. A new business can be hard, but a new business in a small town is HARD.

Tonight I walked into what was Taylor Made for the last 8 years & it wasn’t that anymore. This time last week I was closing my doors for the last time. I’m so proud for ! I hope you find that strength to build your little business & trudge forward. It’s not easy but is sure is worth it 🤍 all of my treats were so stinking good & I know their opening day was a massive success! Watch out for their hours next week & plan to pop in.

Tomorrow is TMB’s last day open! We’re feeling excited, we’re feeling sad, we’re feeling all the things. Make plans to stop by and see us 🤍 we will be open from 10-5 and we are planning to have the cases packed all day long!
