In our kitchen We make all natural, preservative free, organic, tortillas, baked goods, fusion tamales, and many other delicious treats based on traditional recipes, but with a modern, creative twist. We believe in clean, natural, healthy foods made with wholesome ingredients. That is what our bodies need, what our bodies crave, ingredients our grandparent's and our grandparent's grandparent's wou

ld recognize. We LOVE corn tortillas, but the majority of corn in this country is genetically modified and/or sprayed with harmful chemicals. Not to mention those ingredient lists on the final products! In my opinion a tortilla does not need 20-30 ingredients! We spent years looking for a tasty, organic corn tortilla, but in vain. We finally began searching for organic masa harina, so we could make my own, and even that proved to be difficult! We finally found a supplier of organic masa harina and ordered some. We experimented with recipes until we were making the BEST corn tortillas we have ever eaten! We wanted to share them with everyone! Friends ordered them, then friend's of friends. It turns out, we are not the only ones in town who care about the ingredients in their food! We will be making fresh batches of organic flour tortillas, organic yellow corn tortillas, and empanadas (Lemon Blueberry, Cherry Cheesecake, Pineapple, or Jalapeño Cheddar). Our Story

Sarita’s Organic Tortillas is a small cottage food bakery, specializing in organic, all natural, preservative free tortillas. We believe in clean, natural, SIMPLE food. That is what our bodies need, what our bodies crave. These tortillas are what your grandmother and your grandmother's grandmother would make. No 6 syllable, mystery ingredients here. SIMPLE, CLEAN, INGREDIENTS.

We started with corn tortillas. We LOVE corn tortillas, but the majority of corn in this country is genetically modified and/or sprayed with harmful chemicals. In our opinion a tortilla does not need 20-30 ingredients! We spent years looking for a tasty, organic corn tortilla, but no luck. I finally began searching for organic masa harina, so I could make my own, and even that proved to be difficult! I finally found a supplier of organic masa harina and ordered some. We experimented with recipes until we were making the BEST corn tortillas we have ever eaten! We wanted to share them with everyone! Friends tried them, then friend's of friends. It turns out, we are not the only ones in town who care about the ingredients in their food!

We make organic flour tortillas as well and they are delicious, fluffy treats, so good that they can be eaten alone or just with some butter. Many people say it is hard to get them home from market!

Over the years, we have added other treats to our menu. We offer breads, cinnamon buns, chocolate covered delicacies, our irresistible churro cookies, and we are always trying new recipes! The one thing that never changes is our commitment to natural, clean, and organic ingredients.
