Everything is made by me from scratch. Go to the website to fill out an order form. I am passionate about food. It can take you back to your favorite memories and places. EXCITING NEWS!! Wanderlust Pastry is now Butter & Blooms Bakery! I’m in the process of changing everything over, including my page. I felt my businessman’s go early in a different (but amazing) direction than I planned, and it was time for a branding change. I’m not changing the baking business. That has evolved naturally over time. We’re just changing the name. A huge thank you to for the new logo. You know me so well, my talented friend!! So, who loves it??

This summer has been filled with so much learning and growth. I have become the baker I want to be, and I love it! I’ve reached a point where my clients know what cakes fit my aesthetic. I’m playing with more interesting, homemade flavors AND clients are choosing them! Adding in the cake tastings has been so great for me and the clients. So, thank you! Thank you for supporting me. Cake stenciling might be my new favorite thing! This is actually a cookie stencil from but the cake was small enough for it to work. How gorgeous would this design be in a black or jewel tone cake?! I can’t wait to do more!

Simple, smooth buttercream, gold glam, fresh florals. And that acrylic cake disc to take it to the next level of luxury. And that’s just the outside! This snickerdoodle cake is 🤤 I created my own recipe, and I couldn’t stop eating it 🙊

Hello everyone! We have a lot of new friends recently, so I thought I would introduce myself. I’m Amanda, and I am Wanderlust Pastry. I’m a Florida girl, growing up in St. Petersburg just outside of Tampa ☀️🌴 I’m a two time Gator, earning both my bachelors and masters from the University of Florida 🐊🧡💙 We lived in Arizona for a year before landing in Lubbock. We were brought here by Texas Tech. My husband is a professor, teaching companion animal science. He studies primarily canine behavior and olfaction (sense of smell). Teaching is my full-time job. This year I’ll be teaching 7th grade science and yearbook! In addition to teaching and baking, I am a mama. Our beautiful daughter would be 3. Though she is no longer with us, she’s in my heart, loved and missed everyday. My son is a very spirited 2 years old. He is happy and passionate and wonderful and exhausting.
I’m very proud of the fact that Wanderlust Pastry does everything from scratch. I even developed many of the recipes I use myself. While I strive for every cake to be beautiful, it’s even more important that is it delicious! My cakes are all buttercream and ganache. I don’t use fondant- ever. My style, I’d call it modern. It’s definitely unique. I love what I do, and trying new things. Wanderlust Pastry is definitely going in a new direction, and I am enjoying every moment of the journey.
