I’ve seen so many mothers get led to believe they’re not producing enough milk, within the first 24 hours, and get talked into supplementing. They have a pump by the bed and they measure the milk. Anyone would think that isn’t a lot of milk, but it’s all your baby needs.
Your breastmilk comes in 3-5 days after delivery, just in time for baby’s growing stomach. Breastmilk is thinner than colostrum and is produced in larger quantities. It is made up up of everything baby needs.
Remember your baby and your body got really aquatinted inside your womb, and are still communicating. TRUST your baby and TRUST your body. It will do what and how much your baby needs. You are connected.
