There have been quite a few new faces around here lately, and it occurred to me that I’ve never really introduced myself! So, for those of you who are new (and those who’ve been here a while!), here’s a little about the girl behind the cookies! 👋🏼🤍
Hi! I’m Danielle, the baker, decorator, and creative hands behind Cookies for Kel!
By day, I work in the legal field, but outside of the office, I’m a wife, mom, and someone who has always loved finding ways to be creative. Baking and decorating cookies have become one of my favorite creative outlets, and I’m so grateful that I get to share that passion with all of you!
Fun fact: Before my career took me into an office, I spent time working in commercial kitchens, where I also received training and certifications in food safety and sanitation. So while I love making cookies that look pretty, I care just as much about the quality and attention to detail that go into making them!
But Cookies for Kel is about so much more than cookies. ❤️
I started this little business in 2023 in memory of my best friend Kelly, who tragically lost her life to a pulmonary embolism at just 32 years old.
Kelly had an incredible heart for helping others, and Cookies for Kel is my way of keeping a little piece of that spirit alive. Through every order, I have the opportunity to spread awareness about blood clots, share potentially lifesaving information, and give back to the National Blood Clot Alliance, with 10% of profits donated to support their mission.
What began as a way to channel my creativity into something meaningful has become something I’m incredibly proud of.
Whether you’ve ordered cookies, shared a post, followed along, or simply taken a moment to learn about blood clot awareness, thank you for being here and supporting something that means so much to me.
Made with love. Baked for a cause. In memory of Kel. 🍪❤️
