I know...it's not turkey! But it is one of my favorite traditions that start thr Holiday season.
I had a very heavy heart this year knowing it would be the first year in 9 years that my cafe wouldn't be serving complimentary Thanksgiving dinners since I retired. I had hoped one of our local restaurants would jump in and carry the torch forward.
Well, I want to thank...with my whole heart, Don Delfis for offering complimentary Thanksgiving meals to anyone who stops in on Thanksgiving day.
I won't lie, I cried ugly tears when I saw it listed on their food specials message board.
I was so worried and now I am so happy. I don't think I could feel any more grateful.
For details, hours, etc., please contact them...I was so teared up that I forgot ro ask!
Also, please check on your elderly neighbors or invite someone without family to join yours. It means the world to them to feel included and wanted.
Don Delphis...good job! Way to give back to this community! And I hope you are accepting donations for your kindness...I will be dropping one off this week!
