Two weeks until the MOV Harvest Trail! A weekend of fall fun right here in the Mid-Ohio Valley. We will be setup at Hidden Hills Orchard on Saturday the 26th with all the local, fall flavors. Make your way to Wildroot Flower Co. and Stacy Family Farm to stamp your passport, support the amazing small businesses there, and enjoy a wonderful fall weekend. If you're lucky, your completed passport will win you the Harvest Basket filled with $600+ in local goodies! We can't wait!

It's Paw Paw Season! There will be a limited bake of paw paw bread available this week at Sips Coffee Truck! We're lucky enough to have trees on our family land that have produced some beautiful fruits this year. The bread is a simple batter that we use for our banana bread. Sub out the banana for paw paw puree and you've got a delicious, moist bread featuring Appalachia's tropical fruit.

Never had paw paw? This is your time to try! The fruit inside of the green skin is a soft, yellow pulp when ripe. It resembles mashed banana in texture and is a flavor all its own. Some people aren't a fan of the texture when raw, but when baked it is incorporated into the batter in a way that you don't really get a piece of just paw paw.

Before we realized we had trees on our family's land, we enjoyed finding them on the City Trails in Marietta! A perfect adventure snack. Be sure that the fruit is soft the squeeze. My favorite is a fruit that has just fallen off the tree on its own. It's a real joy if you find one before the bugs have!

We'll also be sending the Double Chocolate Zucchini Bread this week. Local flavors are thriving right now!

Late to posting, but double chocolate zucchini bread was stocked at Sips Coffee Truck today! It's deliciously indulgent with a side of veggies.😉 Filled with homegrown zucchini! Get it at the truck while you can! They will be in Marietta (WesBanco) tomorrow and Parkersburg (Town Square Lofts) Friday.

It's been an intentionally quiet summer on the bakery front, but this week was a big order week! 150 mini bread loaves out the door for a golf outing. A big thank you goes out to Sips Coffee Truck for the connection for the order. Felt good getting back into it. Also check out the new packaging! It has been a real game changer in terms of efficiency AND it is super cute!

Starting next week, you can once again find some Honey Bun Bakery items at Sips Coffee Truck. We'll be delivering on Wednesdays!
