Fiesta Blend Green Chili created by Abby Chadwick. Abby made this dish using Custom Blending’s Fiesta Seasoning. It’s delicious and made in a slow cooker for convenience. Check out the recipe:

1-2 T. of Custom Blending Fiesta Seasoning
1 lb pork tenderloin
1 box beef broth
1/2 yellow onion sliced
1 can diced tomatoes
2 cans green chilies
1/2 t. Garlic powder or 1 clove garlic minced
2 T. (Or more) flour

Instructions:

1.) Place pork and seasoning in a small crock pot. Fill pot with water to just cover pork.
2.) Cook on high for 4 hours
3.) Into a large pot put the onion, broth, garlic, and chilies. Bring to a boil. Turn off heat
4.) Scoop out two cups of liquid from the pot and put into a bowl. Add flour and whisk together until combined.
5. Place flour mix in the Chile and stir. Bring back to boil until thickened.
6. Cut pork into 1 inch cubes. Add to chili
7. Serve with tortilla chips, tortillas, cheese , or sour cream

Position: Blending / Production Worker

Custom Blending, LLC is looking for a Blender / General Production Worker to be part of our team. Join our 33 year history of high quality products, excellent customer service, and a great place to work.

Physical Demands

The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 60 pounds repeatedly throughout the day. The employee is occasionally required to sit, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.

Essential Functions

Balance safety, quality, and productivity to achieve positive results in all areas.
Read batch tickets and prepare dry blends using established SOPs and systems with a high level of accuracy.
Understand and follow all cleaning procedures including the PPE required to perform the task safely.
Comply with established sanitation standards, personal hygiene and health standards.
Keeps work area neat and clean at all times. Cleans and maintains equipment used in food preparation.
Work in a fast-paced environment.

Attention to detail and thoroughness.
Results driven, strong sense of urgency, and time management.
Strong team player.
Capable of setting priorities, and the ability to work in a constant priority shifting environment.

What a great afternoon at Custom Blending, LLC!! We just had a visit from Jennifer Scharpe from the Department of Agriculture and 24 Colorado teachers! What a great group of folks! Thank you guys for taking the time to visit with us. It was such a treat to have you tour the facility. The Department of Agriculture and Teachers ROCK!!

Custom Blending, LLC would like to thank everyone for attending our Ribbon Cutting Ceremony yesterday. Seeing each of you there and having so much support made the event successful and memorable.
