Don’t believe in yourself right now? Borrow some of my belief in you until you find your own.

I will ALWAYS be the person clapping for you, celebrating your wins, encouraging you to go after your dreams, and reminding you of what you’re capable of — even when you can’t see it yourself.

I truly believe there is room for all of us to win. Someone else’s success doesn’t take away from yours. Someone else’s growth doesn’t make you any less valuable. And someone else shining doesn’t mean your light has to dim.

I want this space to be about empowering one another, celebrating each other, and creating a community where we lift each other up instead of comparing ourselves to one another.

There is enough room for all of us to grow, succeed, and become the people we dream of being.

So if you need someone in your corner today, let this be your reminder that I’m rooting for you. Even if we’ve never met. Even if we’re in completely different seasons of life.

Your wins are worth celebrating, and I hope you never feel like you have to shrink yourself or your dreams to make someone else comfortable.

In all seriousness, though… being a small business owner in this economy is NOT for the faint of heart.

People see the finished products. What they don’t always see is the constant reinvestment, the rising cost of ingredients and supplies, the equipment that needs replacing, the packaging, the insurance, the taxes, and the million little expenses that come with keeping a business running.

Sometimes you spend money before you ever make a dollar back.

Sometimes you have to make difficult decisions, adjust your pricing, or find ways to make things work when the cost of doing business keeps climbing.

And the truth is, spending money on your business doesn’t always mean you’re making more money. Sometimes it means you’re doing what you need to do to maintain the quality of your products, serve your customers well, and keep moving forward.

I think that’s one of the parts of entrepreneurship people don’t talk about enough. You can love what you do, be incredibly grateful for what you’ve built, and still feel the weight of how much it takes to keep it all going.

I’m so proud of the business I’ve built, and I wouldn’t trade this life for anything. But some days, the behind-the-scenes reality of running a small business is a lot less glamorous than the highlight reel makes it look.

So yes, sometimes I’m on my way to spend money on my business so my business can make money so I can spend more money on my business. 😂

But behind the joke is a whole lot of planning, calculated decisions, hard work, and a genuine desire to keep building something I’m proud of.
