When you’re a one-woman show…
There’s no one waiting in the wings.
No backup plan.
No team to pass it off to when life hits hard.
When you don’t have staff to lean on,
it’s you, 100%.
Every order. Every client. Every single detail.
Death in the family…
A sick kid who needs you…
A heart that feels like it’s breaking in real time…
You still have to show up. You don’t have a choice.
You wipe your tears, take a deep breath,
and keep going—because people are counting on you.
Because your name is on everything.
Because if you don’t do it, it doesn’t get done.
It’s not always pretty.
It’s not always easy.
But it’s what it takes to build something that’s yours.
And on one of those days…when I was so overwhelmed I could barely move without crying…
she showed up.
