Hello everyone! I know it’s been a long time since I’ve posted. I just wanted to fill everyone in on what’s going on with Jenn‘s Cakepops.
On June 30, an MRI done for my back pain revealed that I had a mass on my kidney. I was one of 200-300 cases in the US diagnosed with a pheochromocytoma, it’s extremely rare. My care team was made up of my P*P, an endocrinologist and an endocrinology oncology surgeon. All brilliant women who saved my life!
I had to have major surgery one month ago for an adrenalectomy. Luckily, I got to keep my kidney, but my adrenal gland had to be removed. Pathology revealed that I had no cancer and I am so so thankful for that diagnosis.
I am healing very well, I have been really sore and uncomfortable for the last month, but I am on the upswing now!
I hate to say that this is the end of Jenn‘s Cakepops, but in reality I just don’t think I will be doing any Cakepops anymore.
It is a lot of work and while my business has been successful, it has taken a toll.
I am excited to be able to spend more time with my family and the people that life is worth living for!
I am extremely proud of what I accomplished over the last few years and so thankful to everyone who supported me to make it happen.
Thanks to each and every one of you for believing in and supporting me all the way!
Love,
Jenn 💕
