What do my baker friends think?! I would not pay $60 for a loaf of rye bread, but I don’t like rye bread, and I can make bread myself. But I can see the justification for the price tag having owned a bakery - rent, renovation, equipment, ingredients, employees, payroll taxes, and in New York of all places!
