This was one of the most difficult cakes I’ve made in a long time. Not because anything went wrong, but because the design is so simple. Smooth buttercream. That’s it. No piping, no texture, no florals to hide behind. Just countless passes with the spatula to fill every tiny bubble & blemish, and in the end 4 tiers of smooth buttercream. Very proud of the final product. Simple doesn’t mean easy.
