🚀 Have a small business question you’ve been trying to figure out? Bring it to Small Biz Bootcamp! 🚀

Running a small business means there’s always something to solve — pricing questions, marketing ideas, display struggles, product challenges, or those “what do I do next?” moments.

This month’s Small Biz Bootcamp: Ask & Apply is a different kind of workshop. Instead of a traditional class, we’re opening the floor for a collaborative problem-solving session where you bring the questions and we build the answers together.

Need help thinking through pricing? Want feedback on your booth setup? Trying to figure out your next marketing move? Wondering how to tackle a business roadblock?

Bring your questions, ideas, and challenges — we’ll break them down and work through them in real time.

No long lecture. No one-size-fits-all advice. Just practical conversations, real solutions, and actionable next steps you can actually use.

📍 Northeast Regional Library
🆓 FREE session!

Registration is recommended. Save your spot and come ready to talk business!

🔪Chaos, Cupcakes & Caffeine: No One Is Safe Edition 🔪

The lights are low. The frosting is ready. And something about tonight feels… off.

Consider this your official warning: 18+ only. No kids. No mercy. Just pure, caffeine-fueled chaos wrapped in buttercream and bad decisions that escalate fast.

Bring your strongest ally, your biggest rival, or that one person who always says “I’d survive that movie for sure”—and watch how quickly confidence disappears when the challenges begin.

This is a “cupcake decorating class”… in the same way a horror movie is “just a harmless watch.”

We supply the cupcakes, frosting, tools, caffeine, and a series of unpredictable challenges that change without warning. You bring your creativity, your strategy, your questionable alliances… and your willingness to find out what happens when things go wrong.

No one is exempt. No one is safe. Everyone participates.

Your kit includes:
✨ Four themed cupcakes + everything you need to decorate them
✨ Caffeine to steady your hands when things start to feel… weird
✨ Twists, challenges, and escalating chaos that will not behave as expected

📅 WHEN: Friday, October 23rd | 7:00 PM–8:30 PM
📍 WHERE: The Train Depot — 2230 Buechel Ave.

It’s not just a class. It’s giving “I came to decorate cupcakes and now I can’t tell if that sound was part of the game.”

You’ll laugh. You’ll compete. You’ll question who you’re sitting next to. And by the end, you’ll either make it through the night… or realize you were never really in control of it.

What does Gluten-Friendly mean to us?
We use only Gluten-Free ingredients in our Gluten-Friendly products and take every possible step to prevent cross-contact with gluten. Our kitchen does also produce items containing gluten, although gluten and Gluten-Friendly products are never being made at the same time.

Kentucky has approved us to label our products Gluten-Free, but we choose to use Gluten-Friendly because we believe in being completely transparent about our kitchen.

And this is personal for us. Meg, our owner and baker, has Celiac Disease and multiple life-threatening food allergies, so we understand how serious food safety can be. We have many customers with Celiac Disease who enjoy our Gluten-Friendly treats regularly, and we’re incredibly grateful for the trust they place in us.

We know every person’s comfort level and needs are different, so we encourage you to make the choice that’s right for you.

Want to make sure you get exactly what you want before we sell out? Get your weekly order in early!

💸 Don’t let your profit walk right out the door! 💸

Join us tomorrow for Small Biz Bootcamp: Pricing for Profit!

Did you know most food businesses don’t actually know how to price for profit when they first open? They calculate ingredients, pick a number that feels fair, and hope the math works out.

Spoiler alert: Hope is not a pricing strategy!

This month in Small Biz Bootcamp, we’re talking pricing for profit in the food industry — how to calculate your true product cost beyond just ingredients, factor in overhead without guessing, and set prices that actually protect your time, skills, and margins.

We’ll also talk about how to raise your prices without making customers panic or feeling like you’ve just dropped a financial bomb on them.
