They are 3 layers of almond matzoh cakes soaked in coffee, raspberry or pistachio syrup, filled with 2 layers of coffee, raspberry or pistachio French buttercream, a middle layer of milk or dark chocolate ganache and topped with a milk, dark or ruby chocolate glaze and and edible Passover image. Another round of the viral mango Entremet but a few years ago we used to make them in the shape of roses, hearts and simple round cakes for holidays. I need to make more flavors and shapes but I’m just not 100% yet and can’t imagine doing them in bulk just yet. Soon though as I’m craving passion fruit, lemon, raspberry and the berry pistachio that I love!

My chocolate cake recipe has remained the same for more than 10 years, but I’ve adjusted and tried more than 20 vanilla cake batters. I have a different vanilla for layer cakes, cupcakes and Bundt cakes. Chocolate batter works great for all types of chocolate desserts. Anyone else been though this?
