Victoria, BC is beautiful 😍 any time of year - and today was just spectacular‼️ After a city tour, we made our way to Butchart Gardens 🪏🪴👨‍🌾 where things were in full bloom. From the Japanese 🏯Gardens to the Rose 🌹 Gardens the air was filled with the fragrance 👃of flowers 🌺, budding 🌳 trees and springtime ‼️ Then it was on to the Empress 👑 Hotel for high ⬆️ tea ☕️. Of course we indulged in all things sweet and savory for the last day of our amazing adventure in Alaska and British Columbia 🥰

If you want to laugh 😆, learn all about new places, indulge in mouthwatering food, and have a great 👏 experience, be sure to sign up for our TRIPS private shore excursions ‼️ As 🅱️rian likes to say - they’re the 💥 bomb! Today in Ketchikan, we saw eagles 🦅 within touching distance, showed off how tough 💪 we are pulling a crab pot off the 🌊 ocean floor, and then got all messy at an all-you-can-eat 🦀 crab feast 😅. And to make sure we can still fit into those skinny jeans 👖, we climbed those 79 steps 👣 back up to our 🚐 vans! A pretty 🤩 perfect day in our 📖 book❣️

Sitka has a famous watering hole - Ernie’s Old Time Saloon - that has the self proclaimed best Duck 🦆 Fart in Alaska. So of course we had it try 1️⃣ ‼️ was is the best in the state - well, it’s the only one we’ve ever tried - so probably so‼️it was a blustery day and after time on the water 💧 searching out 🫍 whales, 🦦 sea otters, 🦅 eagles and 🦭 sea lions - it sure warmed us 🆙

Haines, Alaska is just a blip on the map but a charming blip for sure! The rugged mountains surrounding the town are mesmerizing and we had great weather to enjoy during our wandering‼️ one of our most talented Trips travelers made her Azamara debut last night - and has since been inundated with requests for autographs and pictures ‼️‼️

Hubbard Glacier 🧊 is massive at 76-miles-long and 7 miles wide, towering 350 feet above the water! We were so lucky to have a sunny 😎 day to marvel and enjoy the views‼️If you can guess who’s the Stud Puffin - you win - 🥇‼️ A good laugh 😂 and maybe a fashion show on your next Trips tour!!

Valdez has a history of perseverance - this community of 3,000 suffered catastrophic damage from an earthquake in 1964 centered just 45 miles away. Measuring 9.2, it’s the second most powerful ever recorded. Then is 1989 the disastrous Exxon Valdez oil tanker spill devastated 1,300 miles of pristine shoreline. Today, Valdez is once again a thriving fishing port surrounded by majestic mountain ranges! A wonderful beginning to our cruise!!

Riding the Rails 🚞 today from Denali to Anchorage. Stunning scenery and wow - the weather gave us a bit of everything! Rain 🌧️, snow ❄️ frozen rivers🥶 and sunshine 🌞 ‼️ Beautiful mountain 🏔️ vistas, quick glimpses of moose 🫎 and bear 🐻 along the way.
