Did we miss these?! I sure did!

Apologies for the hiatus. Have had a lot on my plate (unfortunately no cakes), so HYC LA took a break, but I’m back! Officially accepting orders starting next Sunday, October 9th 🍰

I am so excited to get back into the kitchen and start creating again 🥲 ✨ just in time for the holidays, so get your orders in ahead of time!

🥹 I had the honor of making my first wedding cake for the absolute sweetest, most genuine bride. She put full trust in me and allowed me to exercise my creativity while I left my comfort zone. It really was an honor to be apart of somebody’s special day ✨💍

This one is a simple vanilla x vanilla buttercream + a mixed berry orange zest filling. The wedding incorporated maroon and a lot of greenery, so I wanted to do the same for this cake with the dried blood oranges and eucalyptus 🌱🍊💜

Personal sentiment:
When I started HYC, cakes were my weakness. I never thought I’d fall into this space (almost) as exclusively as I am now, and more importantly, enjoy making cakes as much as I do now. They say the hardest work is the most rewarding work and ain’t that the truth. I love to give and share with others in the simplest ways. What better way than through baked goods? X

Mixed berry filled for a perfect summer birthday dessert ❤️💙💜

The cake is vegan and grain free with a homemade chia seed berry filling. I used a mix of strawberries, blackberries, and blueberries with no added sugar + chia for healthy fats and fiber.
