Hi, friends! I’ll be teaching a Vintage Cake Decorating Class at Bean&Butter | Baking supplies on Saturday, June 27th from 10 AM–1 PM! 💖🎂

This class is SO meaningful to me because B&B is where I first learned how to PROPERLY decorate cakes. Belen, the owner, was one of the people who helped spark my love for cake decorating, so being invited back to teach a class here feels incredibly full-circle. 🥹✨

Whether you’re a beginner or just want to sharpen your piping skills, you’ll learn how to:
🧁 Fill and frost a cake
🌸 Use different piping tips
🌿 Pipe borders, flowers, and leaves

All materials are provided, and you’ll leave with your own decorated cake!

Hi friends!!!

Yes, I’m alive. Yes, I know I’ve been very MIA for what feels like a thousand years. Life decided to throw a few… plot twists my way, including two losses in the family, hospitalized family members, and a (very, very rough) breakup. It’s been a season of grief, healing, and a lot of personal growth. (Enough of the sob story, Liz 🙄)

But through it all, the cakes never stopped! I’ve been quietly working behind the scenes, pouring my energy into buttercream when words were harder to find.

So consider this my official “I’m back on the interwebs” wave. I’m slowly crawling back onto social media (and out of my hole) and sharing some of my favorite cakes from the past few months!

Hi, spooky friends! I wanted to share an important update. I was scheduled to host a pop-up this Saturday, December 13th, but unfortunately, I was rear-ended last week (I’m okay!). My trunk was damaged and won’t open or close, which means I can’t transport any of my materials, products, or goodies for the event. I literally use very square inch of my little car to host pop-up events, and while insurance will be fixing it, it won’t be in time for Saturday’s movie night, so this SUCKS. 🙃

When the world feels heavy, kindness still has the power to lift people up. 🖤

Birthdays have always held a very special place in my tiny Grinch heart. I truly believe everyone deserves a cake (or something sweet!) on their special day, and I found an amazing organization that focuses on providing just that.

is a non-profit that connects volunteer bakers to make and hand-deliver birthday, graduation, and holiday cakes to children and young adults in foster care. 🎂✨
