As many of you know, I started NY Cake Pops in my home kitchen 15 years ago and grew it into something I never could have imagined. Like any small business, there have been ups and downs, but now I’m facing the toughest challenge yet.
A change in building ownership caused the property taxes on my space to skyrocket by 800%, and I’ve just been told I owe months of back payments immediately. I only have a few days to raise the funds or risk losing everything I’ve worked so hard to build.
