As we enter our final day of service here at
À LA WAFFLE, I am filled with immense gratitude and excitement. It has been such a thrill to see all of our customers jam-packed in our store ever since our announcement of closure. Hearing all of your stories and the memories we have created here at À LA WAFFLE has been so incredible, and I feel so proud and honored by the community we have built.

Today, as I reflect, I look back on young Sara at 25 years old, who opened this dessert shop in 2017 with nothing but a dream and a naive baker’s heart. I am so incredibly proud of these past seven years, as they have been incredibly rewarding and life changing.

The excitement today is just as strong as it was when I first opened, but now it is supported by the foundation and outpouring love that has made this business so successful. I end tonight with a profound sense of accomplishment from these past seven years, and I could not have done it without my incredible employees, family, friends, and customers. Thank you all endlessly, and if you are coming in tonight, we appreciate your patience as the lines/wait times will be crazyyyyy 😅😊

It is with heartfelt emotions that we announce the upcoming closure of our cherished store in Los Alamitos after seven wonderful years. While bidding farewell to this location brings mixed feelings, we eagerly anticipate new beginnings on the horizon. Stay connected with us on social media for updates on our future endeavors.

Happy New Year! The new Flavor of the Month is here! Say hello to our Vietnamese Coffee Cookies & Creme Belgian Waffle!!! This Belgian waffle has Vietnamese Coffee Cheesecake Filling, Vietnamese Coffee Glaze, Fresh Whipped Cream, Dark Chocolate Ganache Sauce, Fresh Whipped Cream, and Cookies & Creme Crumbs. “It was a late night and a sweet craving hit us for some dessert. Thinking most of the gems in our area were already closed I took to Yelp and found A La Waffle. They had great reviews and the pictures of the desserts had my mouth watering over the phone and I had to make the drive

“A La Waffle” is a cute little shop tucked away inside of an unassuming strip mall in the city of Los Alamitos. Google maps leads you to a different area but you will find A La Waffle off the main street. This place was very cozy and homey. The owner did phenomenal setting the ambiance to enjoy some great food.

I mentioned it was my first time she recommended the Banberry and Strawberry Shortcake. So I got her suggestions as well as Creme Brulee waffle.
