The most special cake ever. My grandma is my inspiration for my cakes, this was a cake of love. Everything made in Virginia and driven to Atlanta. Stacked and frosted in a cabin kitchen. My amazing wife made the flowers. Chocolate fudge cake with fudge buttercream. 6 layers and served about 60 people. 25lbs of yum!

It has been awhile since I have had time to bake. My SIL asked me to make her wedding cake and make it all vanilla and rustic. Oh and she lives in South Texas, so 110degrees and high humidity. Was a challenge that is for sure!
I said yes and here was the result.
3 weekends of test recipes.
15 hours of baking and decorating for a 3-layer 12, 10, 8” and an 11x15 serving cake.
