Day 1 of a three-day cookie marathon. 🍪

It’s been a while since I’ve had a big order taking over the kitchen, but this week Kindred Bees is coming out of retirement for a very special event. 🐝

13 dozen cookies. 156 total.
Chocolate Chunk Sea Salt + Snickerdoodles.

Today is prep day — ingredients measured, pans ready, and a whole lot of butter and chocolate waiting on the counter.

Tomorrow we mix, scoop and chill. Then it’s bake day.

I forgot how much I love seeing my kitchen look like this. 🤎

Something has been taking shape around this table. Lots of scribbled notes. Lots of ideas crossed out and rewritten. A few cups of coffee. And an idea I keep coming back to.

I’ve been thinking a lot lately about this part of life. About how easy it is to spend years moving from one thing to the next, working, caring for people, keeping up with everything that needs us, and then one day you start asking yourself: What do I want now?

Not because the life we’ve built isn’t good. I’m incredibly grateful for mine. But because we’re still here. Still curious. Still becoming. Still dreaming.

Somewhere along the way, I think we’ve gotten the idea that we should always be doing more. Achieving more. Improving ourselves. Filling every minute. I’m starting to question that.

I don’t have any of this figured out. I’m asking myself these same questions. And little by little, those thoughts have started becoming something real.

There are notebooks and ideas scattered around my house right now. I’ve been writing again and dreaming about all the little details. I don’t want to show you everything quite yet, but I will tell you this.

I’m creating something I hope will feel like a little gift when it arrives. Not just because of what’s inside, but because of how I hope it makes you feel. I want it to remind you that whatever you’ve been feeling or wondering about lately, you’re probably not the only one.

Maybe we don’t always have to be doing more or trying to become better versions of ourselves. We’re already enough. And that doesn’t mean we’re done dreaming. I think there is still so much ahead of us.

That’s what I’ve been working on. And I can’t wait to share more with you. Teresa

It’s been quiet here for awhile.
Life asked a lot of me these past few months. More than I expected. Kindred Bees had to take a back seat, but the whole idea behind this, women showing up for each other, small and steady, the way a hive holds itself together, never left me. I just needed the time.

I’m back now, and something is stirring. I can’t share all of it yet. There’s still work to do behind the scenes. But I wanted you to be among the first to know: Kindred Bees is waking back up, and I’m genuinely excited again for the first time in a while.

More is coming. For now, just know I’m here, and I’m so ready to connect and share with you again.

Join us Thursday, July 16 for An Evening of Reiki with Erika Gmach of Bee Sage Farm. Erika brings over 20 years of energy healing experience and a gift for helping women feel relaxed, rested, and reconnected.
The evening includes a cold brew herbal tea bar, a teaching on what Reiki is and how it works, a Reiki infused guided meditation, time for journaling and questions, and a spread of Kindred Bees baked goods made from scratch with organic ingredients.
You will choose a crystal to hold during the meditation and set an intention for your evening. You will leave with a gift bag that includes a rosewater crystal spray, a journal, an affirmation card, and a Kindred Bees bakery style cookie to enjoy the next day.

Rooted and Radiant. May 27, 2026.

Twelve women. One evening. And everything that happens when you put the right people in the same room.

There was honest conversation. The kind you do not get at a dinner party or a work event. Real talk about nervous systems, sleep, stress, and what it actually feels like to live in a woman’s body right now. Dr. Kandace Johnson brought wisdom, depth, and the kind of knowledge that stays with you long after you leave.

There was laughter. Warm and easy.

There was learning. Things you could not unhear.

There was intention. In every detail. The roses. The jars. The bath salt bar. The way the room was set up so that no one felt like a stranger for long.
