Good morning, Sugar Mama Bakery fans! 💕🎂
I wanted to take a moment to share a little update about Sugar Mama Bakery and the direction I’ll be taking moving forward.
Many of you may know, and some may not, that I have been in the bakery business since 1995. I’ve spent most of my adult life working in some form of food service, including many years in the kitchen and growing Sugar Mama Bakery into what it is today.
Last year, I took a new job that moved me away from working in a kitchen and into a different type of role. I’m now working more full-time-ish hours, and between work, my daughter, and everything that comes with life, my evenings and weekends have become very busy.
With that being said, I’ve made the decision to drastically cut back my Sugar Mama Bakery menu moving forward. For the foreseeable future, I will be focusing primarily on CAKES. 🎂
I will still consider other requests on a case-by-case basis, so please feel free to reach out if you have something special in mind. However, my availability may not always line up with your event or timeline, and I apologize in advance if I’m unable to accommodate your order.
This decision wasn’t made lightly. I’m simply in a completely different stage of my life than I was when I started this journey, and right now, I’m choosing to slow down a little and spend more of my time with my family. ❤️
Sugar Mama Bakery isn’t going anywhere — it’s just getting a little smaller and a whole lot more manageable. 😉
