I started decorating cakes in January of 2013 when I decided to make my daughters 2nd birthday cake. Since that first cake I have realized that this is my passion and would love to pursue my own business, and have since opened a home-based bakery in compliance with the Colorado Cottage Food Act. I got to make this gorgeous cake for one of my friends who’s daughter was celebrating her sweet 16!💕

It was my first time using these texture flakes and I love the outcome!😍 I love how simple yet beautiful a hand quilted tier looks! All of the flowers are also handmade.💕
