In loving memory of my youngest uncle, Gene. He was so brilliant, funny, talented, kind, and supportive. A genius. I’m so thankful he was in my life. I just wish it could have been for much, much longer.

This was the LOTR cake I made for his 46th birthday party, not even 4 years ago. He was so loved, and we will miss him so much.

I will be taking some time off from baking over the summer, but I plan to be back with treats for the fall holidays. Until then 🩵
