Here's how I got started....Some of you will know what I'm talking about when I say the famous " Tracy Bingham cakes" and for those of you who don't she is my mom and was in the cake business for 20 years and broke lots of hearts when she quit. Never say never....I said I would never do cakes, I hated everything about it as teen except spending the money that she made off of it. Then I grew up, go
t married, had 2 kids, and have been blessed enough to stay home with them. In the mean time I did a cake here and there and guess what I actually love it!!! Then things changed with my husbands job and money wasn't as good, and I told mom that I thought it was time for me to get a job and try to help out, but that I didn't want to leave my kids and she said " do cakes." Before I left her house that night she had my car loaded down with cake stuff. One thing that I was never very good at was writing on cakes and I would make mom come and write on them and then I thought there is no way she can run to me every time I have a cake. So,I began to pray before I wrote on each cake that God would just put his hands on mine and help me. I will continue to pray that my business will grow and I am thankful for each one of my customers. I love doing cakes and I pray that one day I will be as good as my mom.:)
