I returned to my home country for the first time in 42 years, bringing my wife and two of our children with me. I guided them through so many places like Warsaw, Gdańsk, Kraków, the town where I was born, and much more. I rented a car so I could drive them through the countryside and show them the land myself. Along the way I reconnected with old friends and family members.
Poland was wonderful. So many positive changes have taken place over those 42 years. The older infrastructure simply wasn’t built for the volume of cars on the roads today, and finding parking in the cities can be a real challenge. Still, the entire trip was an incredible experience that I will treasure for the rest of my life.

I know I didn’t advertise my pies this year. I only made them for those who reached out and requested them. I’ve been, and still am very busy producing our jams and jellies. I truly appreciate everyone who ordered pies for their Thanksgiving table.
I also want to take a moment to wish all of you a very Happy Thanksgiving. May your day be filled with blessings, good food, and the company of family and friends. Enjoy every bite, but take it slow, and maybe wear some loose fitting pants so there’s room to grow ☺️
