Well, word is starting to get out so I guess it's time....after 41 years of decorating cakes, 15 in business for myself, it's time to call it quits. Several other reasons have had me thinking on this the past year but in recent months inflation and supply issues have helped push it in to action. I'm actually really good with the decision and looking forward to a less stressful job life. I want to thank each and every one of my customers for supporting me and my business over the years. Whether you bought one cake from me or 1 cake a week for years.... from the bottom of my heart I truly appreciate every single one. Some of you know that I injured my shoulder back in June and haven't been doing many orders. I'm finishing out July with the commitments I already had and July 30th is my final cake. I'll still have to make the grandkids cakes though lol!! It's been an honor to be a part of so many peoples life celebrations in my community. When you start out doing a kids birthday, then graduation, on to weddings and baby showers, then it's their kids birthdays and so on...before you know it you're doing generations of mile stone celebrations for families and feel like you know them. I've had the greatest honor of doing gender reveals with special circumstances, cancer remission celebrations of children and the life celebrations of loved ones who've passed on before us...those stay with me always...I truly felt so blessed to be a part of those sacred moments. Effective immediately, today Tuesday June 14, 2022 I will no longer offer free delivery to business/homes that are not in the immediate Livingston area in town. I will still meet at all my usual spots and deliver in town. I will no longer be able to do free delivery if you are out 190 East past SHECO, 190 West past 350 North, 59 North past the KETX station or 59 South past Thomas Supply. If you're my Cleveland/Shepherd/Other Southward area customers I will still meet you in Goodrich. There will be no exceptions. I hate having to do this but gas prices have made it a reality. If I spend most or all of my profit on free delivery then I'm working for free. Even worse, I have recently gone in the hole on a couple deliveries. I can no longer afford to do that. I know inflation is hurting everyone. Thank you for understanding.

I'm excited to announce that I have launched my new homemade pet treat line. I'm now making homemade dog treats and hope to have cat treats in the near future.
