I’m Griselda a self-taught cottage cookie baker and decorator located in Livermore, California. I am the owner of Blu's Sugar Cookies, and I have recently launched my small business! I want to create for YOU beautiful, melt-in-your-mouth cookies that are sure to be a BIG hit at your next party. d gifts or any other occasion family get-together! For the past year, I have worked on mastering a cookie recipe and the art of cookie decorating. I have always loved baking as a young child and drawing. I had put my love for art aside after getting married and having my wonderful children. After always attending parties with the cutest decorated cookies! I thought - "Hey, I can do that, too! I then decided to put both of my passions together with creating sugar cookies. Before long, I was glued to online videos and soaking up all the information I could about decorating cookies. I tested different cookies by bringing different batches of cookies to family gatherings and taking feedback from everyone as to what may be needed. I’m a mom of two amazing boys, married to my best friend Ruben, dog mom to our 1 Bully, baseball/volleyball mom, and a behavior intervention specialist during the day. I enjoy binge watching Netflix when I am not baking, working or watching my boys play sports. Running, walking, going to the beach are other things I love to do when I am not out and about. If your wondering where the name Blu's Sugar Cookies comes from, well it is in memory of my late diva Oldie English Bulldog who passed away in June of 2022 during the time of starting my small business.
