Some weeks call for CHOCOLATE, and ya’ll these vegan (yep, dairy AND egg free) mini muffins with mini vegan chocolate chips do not disappoint! Oh, they’re also nut free!

Tried my hand at glazed donuts today. They ended up GREAT! Which means Mara got to try her first ever donut!!
She loved it 😊

So excited, website and menu are up and ready just in time for summer parties and bbqs (places we with food allergies often avoid, to be honest!)

Bring a box of nut free treats along with you and make your non-allergic friends jealous for once 😆 (or better yet, bring enough to share!)

When I go into Whole Foods and they have that HUGE inviting looking bakery section and the only things my nut-allergic kiddo can have is these. 😒
Don’t get me wrong, we have rocked some Abe’s muffins in our family. But seriously. A 4-yr-old wants one of the SPECIAL treats!!
It’s one of the frustrating parts of parenting a food-allergic kid.

Nothing a little cookie plus cookie action can’t solve, swipe for Mara’s FAV cookie of all time (so far), Cookies n Cream Cookies 🍪

First European Buttercream, (thanks to for the recipe AND the video) and it worked!
So, the buttercream looked SO bad as I was making it (but the instructions said just stay the course it will be ok) that when it did come together I felt a little bit like a wizard.
And now I have a new superpower!

This weekend I whipped up these Lemon Zest Sugar Cookies. I wanted something without chocolate to add to the Cookie Quest repertoire, and I think I nailed it. They’re sweet, but not overly so, and the lemon zest and sugar coating gives them a crunchy bite.
Even Mara, my chocolate lover, ate every bit.

Can’t wait to share them with customers!

When your mom is testing recipes so you get to try 3 flavors of cookies before dinner 😂

These are Lemon Ginger Sugar Cookies. I made one batch extra ginger and one just a tad. I’m a BIG ginger flavor lover, but not everyone is!
The kids ate them all though.
