Introducing Sourdough Made Simple Class-Everything you need to make successful sourdough at home!

WHEN: February 1 - 6:30-8:30pm

What to bring:
One bag of unbleached all purpose flour (King Arthur is a great brand)
A large bowl, plastic or ceramic
(not metal)
A food scale (optional)
Your appetite, yes we will be sampling fresh bread!

Cost: $60.
What’s included:
- 2 hour step by step instructional through the complete sourdough baking process
- Sourdough baking booklet

Hey friends! Three years ago, during that crazy year of the pandemic I ran out of yeast. As a result, I decided to try the popular trend...sourdough baking. As I began researching sourdough and starters I learned that you can purchase starters that are quite old. I found one (though I'm a bit skeptical of anything sold online) dating back to the bubonic plague on Etsy. I decided I wanted to start my own starter so I could watch it bubble and slowly learn the process. And so, in March of 2020 "Corona" (yes, people name their starters) was born.

Over the past 3 years, I've done of lots of reading/testing and I've come up with a quick and easy process for baking delicious and healthy bread!

One of my passions is making health food quick, easy and assessable. My husband's passion is the great Hercules airplane. This venture is a joining of our passions.
