We tend to bring our kids into our environments for photo shoots, when sometimes the real magic happens when we step into theirs. Allisa had a vision of a vintage ice cream shop vibe and I couldn’t think of a better spot for kids to be themselves!
This session wasn’t overly planned. We went with the flow from start to finish. And there was no right or wrong. Everyone was happy to be there. And let’s be honest you can’t take yourself too seriously while licking ice cream ;)
That was the secret sauce. Waiting for the in-between moments. When the laughter hits. When the sticky fingers smudge their clothes. The spontaneous belly hugs. The genuine smiles.
My clients constantly remind me that they bring so much of the magic themselves. They come with ideas, memories, traditions, and pieces of their story that turn a photo session into something uniquely theirs. I just get the privilege of helping bring it to life. ❤️🍦📸
