We source from within 100 miles of our doors to infuse the local palate with creative, fresh food, while positively impacting our local economy. Apart from offering our wares on-premise to shoppers and diners, Farmer•Baker•Sausage Maker will also provide our products at local farmers’ markets, through the internet, and by selling our handcrafted foods to other restaurants. er is reviving the “forgotten culinary arts” of cooking, baking and butchery. Through our focus on spending money with local producers who use sustainable methods, we also support the local economy. Spending money with local growers, rather than far-away megafarms and food processing factories, boosts the ability of the community to be economically more self-sufficient, keeps green space productive, and can help preserve the art of growing food. Through our model, jobs are created where people live, rather than encouraging a culture of commuting.

Grateful Growers pastured pork is available for purchase at our restaurant Harvest Moon Grille at the Lake located in Terrell, NC. We have breakfast sausage both hot and mild, ground pork, chorizo, uncured bacon, pork shanks and thick, bone-in pork chops. It's tomato season so pick up a loaf of our wheat & seed bread and some GG bacon for the best sandwich ever!

It's baking day at HMG at the Lake. Stop in for lunch or dinner, pick up some freshly baked loaves of bread, burger buns, granola bars, chocolate pie and more. Our bread freezes very well so get those delicious burger buns today, pop them in the freezer and then take out on Saturday for your July 4th cook out! We have ground pork and beef for those burgers as well as pork chops, bratwurst and more! Freshly baked bread is available around lunch time & later.

Harvest Moon Grille at the Lake is our new restaurant open Tuesday through Saturday 10am - 7pm located at 8594 NC 150, Terrell, NC (5 mi west of I 77 Mooresville exit 36). We use the freshest ingredients sourced from local small scale farms. Everything is made from scratch - nothing out of a can! Now that our bakers are in the house, you can take home some of the delicious bread that we use at both of our HMG restaurants - again, made from scratch with certified organic flour and no preservatives! Friday is baking day and we are making our wheat & seed and sourdough loaves, flatbread and bake at home biscuits. Freshly baked items are available after 1pm. We also have pork (from Grateful Growers farm), beef, chicken and eggs for sale from small local pasture based farms.
