Hey everyone! I apologize I haven’t posted in awhile. I wanted to give a quick update on where I’m at currently with my bakery and life. I have been pushing myself a little too much and haven’t been prioritizing rest. Baking is my hobby that I enjoy sharing with others but I also have a full time job working nights. Most of the time I can balance both pretty well but there is a lot going on in my life currently that’s taking a toll on me emotionally making it difficult to find that drive I once had to push my limits. I want to be as transparent as I can without sounding like I’m venting. My father’s cancer diagnosis has made me want to pull back on the amount of orders and tasks I can add to my plate so I can focus my attention where it matters most. I don’t want my summer to be spent working too much so I’m trying to balance it all. That being said, I still love to bake when I can. So this isn’t a post that I’m shutting down my business, it’s just a post of where I’m at currently and will be slowing down a bit. As of now I’m not sure yet on if I’ll be doing any farmers markets this summer. I’m not even sure I’ll have my bread shed open other than for pick up orders. I’m taking it one day at a time and taking on only what I can handle. I want to thank you all for being wonderful customers and supporting me even during my moments of needing to rest. I don’t ask for anything other than continued healing prayers for my dad please. Thank you all. You can still send orders in on Mondays and Tuesdays but if I’m unable to fulfill them I would let you know and postpone it.
Sincerely: your local sourdough dealer.😌🙏🏼🍞
