I took two of my sourdough loaves to the Saunders County Fair last week —a whole wheat loaf Niobrara Grain and Milling and an everything seasoning cheddar loaf. Theycame home with 1st and 2nd place! The judges said they were very soft, had good color, and nice flavor. I’m grateful for the chance to keep learning and baking with great local grain. ❤️

I entered 3 items in the 2026 Douglas County Fair – Open Class Static Food Exhibits: white 🍞, everything seasoning with cheddar cheese 🍞, and a jelly roll.

They all took 1st Place, and I brought home 4 rosettes! 🏵️🏵️🏵️🏵️
