I can’t believe I forgot to post these! This was a really special set I did for my husband’s grandmother and friends in her memory care unit. We were able to personally deliver them over the holidays and everyone was so excited to get their own personalized cookie. I just love seeing how a little extra thought and effort can completely make someone’s day.

Today we had Christmas with my dad’s family and my aunt (who was hosting) thought it would be fun for me to bring some undecorated cookies and teach the family about being a cookier.

IT WAS SO MUCH FUN!

I was great seeing how much people enjoyed it, how they really wanted to do well, and mostly fun watching them realize how difficult it actually is.

One of the difficult parts of being a part-time, still learning cookier is that sometimes clients send you inspiration photos of what they want cookies to look like for their event. However, not all techniques are created equal and it can be challenging to explain that to a client the extent of your abilities but that’s what I did when I got the request for this set.

Gracefully, my client said she had seen my previous work and believed I could create something similar and beautiful for her special event.

Thank you for challenging me to push myself, trust my abilities, and deliver this gorgeous set for your gender reveal party!
