The Ligonier Community Coffee House ends its 2025-2026 season on Friday, May 15th. It has been an amazing season, and plans are to end it with a bang-up evening of entertainment! The Coffee House has been an area favorite for over twenty-three years. Each evening has a variety of five or six outstanding stage performances and a great selection of delicious desserts!
The Coffee House is held in the spacious country elegance of “The Barn at Ligonier Valley”, a popular venue for weddings, parties, and other celebrations and meetings! It is spacious and comfortable and a perfect spot for the Coffee House. It is located at 1 Springer Road in Ligonier. Parking is free and convenient. The dessert and beverage bar opens at 6:15 pm and the music starts at 7:00 pm. Come early for the best seats!
The entertainment for the evening includes:
String Tyme - Jeff Bell and Amy Clark are a musical bluegrass duo from Ligonier and Coffee House favorites. Amy’s heartfelt vocals and lyrical autoharp melodies mesh perfectly with Jeff’s guitar, banjo, and ukulele rhythms. Their music and banter are always entertaining! As a special treat, Pam Mulhollem, another Coffee House favorite, is joining them on vocals.
John Larimer - From Somerset, John has been playing music since high school. He has played with a Somerset Classic Rock band, "Whitehorse" for over 30 years in addition to picking bluegrass on occasion and performing solo. John travels with his guitar which has given him opportunities to play in Greece, Turkey, Cambodia and Vietnam, and to perform on a cruise ship with Kenny Loggins! He has written a number of songs (including "He Said Yes", which tells the story of the Quecreek Mine rescue) and currently is in studio putting a project together including a variety of some of older and newer songs he has written.
Hanna Newell - A newcomer to our Coffee House, Hannah is a local fiddle player specializing in energetic Old Time and Celtic style music. She picked up a wide range of tunes while living in South Carolina, Missouri, Vermont, and Pennsylvania. Besides playing at local open mic nights and jams, Hannah has twice played for the Greensburg Summer Sounds concert series and at various other venues and events around the Pittsburgh area. Her first solo album is soon to be released on streaming services!
Mr. Jones & The Diva - Carl & Susan Jones, a very entertaining acoustic guitar duo from Ligonier, that performs pop, rock, and country music from a variety of major artists from the 50’s to today. They are sought after performers who have performed at many venues including Puckett’s in Nashville, Seven Springs Resort, Ft. Ligonier Days, and numerous restaurants and wineries throughout Western Pennsylvania.
Hickory Bottom - Tight harmonies, solid pickin', and lots of fun are the hallmarks of this award-winning Bluegrass band from Bedford, PA. Every member has a rich musical history in a variety of genres ranging from well-known or obscure Bluegrass classics to grassy versions of radio hits. Regardless of their music source, it is all Bluegrass from this talented group! (Pictured)
Jeff Bell - The incomparable emcee who is always fun and entertaining!
