✝️ Keep the First Things First

Sometimes you just have to slow down and remember what comes first.

This morning, it’s the Word before the work.
Bible open. Pen in hand. Heart getting filled.

And, of course… a little pile of cinnamon roll odds and ends to keep me company. 😂

These are the pieces that don’t always make it into the box—the edges, the little extras, the ones that are way too good to go to waste.

Honestly, there’s something pretty fitting about it.

Take care of what matters first.
The orders will get baked.
The dough will rise.
The work will get done.

But before all of that, there’s time to sit still, open the Word, and remember Who gave me the hands to bake in the first place. 🙏

So this morning at Holy Crumb:

📖 Word open
✍️ Notes being taken
🍥 Cinnamon roll scraps being enjoyed
❤️ Heart getting centered

Flour flying, Jesus worshipping—and apparently cinnamon roll edges disappearing.

Keep the first things first. Everything else can wait a minute. ✝️🍞

✨ Holy Crumb family, we’ll be taking a short baking break! ✨

Holy Crumb will be closed until July 19th as we hit the road to cheer on our daughter as she competes at Dance Nationals. 💙🩰

We’re so thankful for your support—not just of our little bakery, but of our family. Your orders help make moments like this possible, and we couldn’t be more grateful.

We’ll be back in the kitchen on July 19th, refreshed, rested, and ready to fill your homes with fresh sourdough and sweet treats once again.

Mixing day at Holy Crumb 🥖

Before the sun’s fully up, the mixer’s running, flour’s flying, and worship music is filling the kitchen. Every loaf starts here — early mornings, messy counters, tired eyes, and a whole lot of gratitude.

Praying over dough, chasing fermentation, and baking with intention. This is the rhythm behind every loaf you bring home.

Fresh bread loading… 🍞
