😍🍩Donut Shop fam, we want to hear from you!

Summer may be winding down, but we’re not going anywhere. We’re planning to stay open through the winter, and we’ve been thinking about adding lunch service after the summer season with a little Mediterranean inspiration.

Before we start planning the menu, we’d love to hear from you. What would you like to see for lunch? Soups, sandwiches, salads, fresh breads, or maybe something completely different? Have a favorite dish or recipe? Send it our way!

We’d also love your thoughts on hours. Would 10–2, 11–2, or 11–3 work best for you?

We’d love to keep the shop a cozy little gathering place for our local community all winter long. ❤️

Hello Lexington Donut Shop family! 🍩❤️

Your feedback is very important to us, and we truly appreciate constructive feedback that helps us improve our operations.

We know many of you would love to see us open later in the afternoon, and we would love that too! We are actively hiring, but unfortunately, we have not yet found the right team members to make an afternoon shift possible. Our current team starts very early, and we open at 6 AM and stay open until sold out.

With that said, we kindly ask for a little understanding. Arriving around noon when we are sold out or have limited items left and then taking that frustration out on our employees is not okay.

There is a lot of work happening behind the scenes every single night to open those doors at 6 AM. Our employees work incredibly hard, and they deserve to be treated with kindness and respect.

Rude behavior, yelling, or disrespect toward our employees will not be tolerated, and we reserve the right to refuse service when necessary.

We value our customers, but we value our team too. Everyone here has a life, a family, and is doing their best to serve this community.

Make your espresso your way with Vanilla, Caramel, or Chocolate, and if you fall in love with our coffee, take some home! We offer Light, Medium, and Dark Roast espresso beans, plus two Turkish coffee selections available to purchase.

Hi, Lexington Donut Shop family! 🍩❤️

We wanted to share a quick note about selling out...

We're a brand-new business, and we're still learning how to predict daily demand. Lexington is a seasonal town, and customer traffic changes constantly with tourism, weather, local events, and the time of year. We review our sales, local events, and customer patterns every week to make the best forecast we can, but accurate forecasting takes time.

Our team starts baking overnight so we're ready to open at **6:00 AM**. We're a breakfast shop, and everything we make is baked fresh for that morning.

Making a lot more donuts "just in case" isn't the answer. We don't sell day-old donuts. If we overproduce, those donuts become waste, along with the time and hard work our team put into making them. We'd rather sell out than compromise on freshness.

We'll continue working with our business partners because they place their orders in advance. That allows us to plan our overnight production, adjust our capacity, and prepare those orders while continuing to serve our walk-in customers as best as possible.

If you're planning to purchase **two dozen or more**, please call ahead and pre-pay. Your order will be added to our overnight baking schedule so it's ready when you arrive.

Thank you for your patience, your kindness, and for growing with us. We're learning, improving, and increasing production every week. We truly appreciate every single one of you. ❤️
