Quiet here on the farm. Counting the days till Spring. I've been shopping for garlic to plant but everyone is sold out. In January I'll set up the greenhouse and start sowing seeds. What new seeds will you be trying next year?

Its pretty cold here today but Don and I went out and finished the raised bed garden area. I finished moving the thirteen Asparagus crowns, he moved the last of the pile of manure and we moved the greenhouse frame and table to the gardens. We covered the Gus plants and Strawberry plants with the aged manure. I will be putting the cover on the frame in early February and starting seeds. Not much to do now until February except look at seed catalogs. This is going to be a wonderful garden area. Thankful.

This is one of the best articles on growing Brussel Sprouts. I plan on giving these a try as a Fall crop next season.
