Thank you to every single one of you who supported, by just sharing our posts, or purchased anything from us, specifically during Valentine’s Day! We made over 3 dozen love jars and dipped over 13 POUNDS of strawberries! Y’all are the absolute best! I’ll be reposting every video we were tagged in — I love seeing you enjoy your desserts! Many people woke up to snow this week, and this winter wonderland wedding cake reminds me of how I️ wish it was snowing here in the south! Nonetheless, this cake was so fun and at nearly 4 ft tall, it definitely packed a punch just like a snowstorm would! Tell me, do you like the snow?

Its as good a time as any to post this cake that we made a few weeks back for a friend who loves all things Marvel. This suit takes on such deeper meaning today, as we look at and honor the life of the man who made it come to life. A life that embodied perseverance and undeniable strength. A true king.

Key lime is starting to become such a popular flavor for dessert bars. It’s like once you taste that pucker in that back of your palette, it’s so refreshing and welcoming and ugh, soooo good!! And bonus, the bright green color of these is so pretty! Are you a key lime fan?

More wedding cakes to share!! This wedding was wine themed and this reception was loaded with plenty of wine barrels, several different kinds of wine to taste and of course, plenty of cheese. They even had life sized games for the guests to play in the back of the venue

The bride and groom were stationed overseas so their parents planned everything for them. It was really the sweetest thing and their parents were so sweet and kind. I️ went through a major loss during the planning of this cake and they were so so kind to me. I️ will always remember that.

Given that it was a wine themed wedding I wanted to design something representative of that so it incorporated wine barrels in the design and the handmade topper that they provided was awesome. It was made from wine corks and shot gun shells and was such a perfect finishing touch.

I️ have been majorly slacking on posting work from the year so I’m going to try to catch y’all up a bit.

Let’s start with this super tall burgundy and blush wedding cake. It was accented with fresh florals and matched the decor perfectly. Hand drawn monograms were in this wedding season and it’s probably my favorite part. So pretty & romantic.
•
The flavors I️ side was fresh strawberry and key lime, which was non traditional for a wedding but great options nonetheless.
